Privacy & cookie policy

This page explains how PR Insight ("we") uses analytics on www.pr-insight.com and how you can control it. Questions: hello@pr-insight.com.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and whether contact enquiries and campaign brief requests are completed. Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it outside the UK under its own safeguards.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to improve our content and measure which pages lead to enquiries. We do not use it for advertising, and advertising and personalisation features are switched off. We never send your name, email address, message or brief contents to Google Analytics; conversion events record only that a form was sent and on which page.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies are only set after you click "Accept analytics". If you reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded.

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID> — keeps session state; expires after 2 years.
  • pri_cookie_consent_v1 — stored in your browser (not a cookie) to remember your choice; it is not sent to us or Google.

How long data is kept

Google Analytics keeps event-level data for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregated reports without individual-level data may be kept longer.

Changing your consent

You can change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately; you can also delete existing cookies in your browser settings.

Enquiries

When you send an enquiry or request a campaign brief, we use the details you provide only to reply to you. You can ask us to access or delete them by emailing hello@pr-insight.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
