How it works
Five things to know before pitching Poland.
Ownership is concentrated
Ringier Axel Springer, Agora, Bonnier and Wirtualna Polska sit behind a large share of Polish media. A strong relationship with one publisher can open several titles at once — and a careless pitch can close them.
Portals still set the agenda
Onet, WP.pl and Interia reach audiences most print titles no longer do. A story picked up by a major portal's home or business section is how national awareness actually happens in Poland.
Journalists expect Polish, natively
Press material translated from English reads as an import. Polish desks expect a local angle, local data and a spokesperson who can comment in Polish — or a clear reason the story matters to Polish readers anyway.
Trade press is the realistic entry point
Technology, retail and media trade titles are more reachable than national desks, and national journalists pick stories up from them. Most campaigns earn trade coverage first, then scale.
Relationships carry more weight than lists
Polish newsrooms are compact. Journalists remember who sends relevant, well-prepared material — mass-distributed press releases to scraped lists are ignored or worse.

What this means for you
Press coverage in Poland is earned, not bought.
Polish journalists cover stories with a local reason to exist: market data, a genuine launch, a credible spokesperson. The brands that get covered are the ones that arrive with a Polish-relevant angle and realistic expectations about which desk their story belongs to. That judgement — which outlet, which journalist, which angle, which week — is the core of what we do.
